Idol Showcase Song Choice Question

Hello ! I am planning out my cosplays for next AB and I thought it would be fun to apply for the Idol Showcase. However, the song I want to choose "Magical Cure Love Shot" is an English Hatsune Miku song and I wasn't sure if that was allowed? The rules and forums say "the Idol Showcase consists of performances derivative of Japanese idol anime, [etc.]" so I figure it would probably be ok to apply with since the song is heavily inspired by Japanese Idol Music and is a Miku song. What are your thoughts ?

I'd say from past experiences seeing the showcase and its guidelines that your song fits the bill. It's a Miku song and is derivative of idol stuff, it is a Miku song after all. There's been english vocaloid songs performed at the showcase in the past.

ALSO I WOULD KILL TO SEE MAGICAL CURE LOVE SHOT AT THE SHOWCASE PLEASE DO IT OH MY GOD

I think it is very good idea to choose "Magical Cure Love Shot" Miku and Japanese idol style match perfectly with the theme. If song takes inspiration from Japanese idol music, and you are working hard on your cosplay act, I would say it is worth trying. It is always good idea to ask event organizers again to be very sure, but I think you should go ahead!
