I am not new to the Artist Alley, but I am new to this.
In the rules it says I can sell a costume, but no 'store bought merchandise'.
I have a few old cosplays store bought that I do not want anymore. Is it okay if I sell them at the table?
How about wigs? (Also store bought, do not want/need anymore.)

I'll leave the ultimate word to Nikki, but you did point out you'd purchased these things at a store...
The idea is basically that you'd be showcasing work that you've done. That's way more interesting, right?

i'd have to say no.
you need to have made this costume yourself.
a lot of people in the cosplay circuit actually do.
so what are we saying when you can sell costumes?
either they advertise the accessories that they can make for the costumes and are easier to have on hand/in quantity for walk away sales at con (hats, tails, ears, chainmaille, jewelry - all hand made by them), and/or they advertise their costume making skills to take home massive commissions (majikcraft made patrickD's Renamon Costume on commission)

I do have stuff on my own to make there already. I didn't know if on the side I could just sell them.
Then in off in the Artist's Ally, where would I be able to get rid of my old cosplays? I don't have access to online selling all that well.

I'm not completely sure of the rules, but maybe the swap meet?
