I think I'll throw out some suggestions for the good ol' mecha genre. I'll also keep these to shows with domestically released shows.

Overman King Gainer!

It came out in a neat little set this past season and hoo boy I do love the opening~

And I'm in a very classic mecha mood this year,

So, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, for some classic '85 love.

Why? You don't want to hear how good Vic Mignogna is as Tamaki?
Or how, even though it's the same voice actress, Haruhi sounds NOTHING like Winry?

And of course, the real reason for the dubbed version at AB: Greg Ayres is the voice for one of the twins. ^_^

I saw the dubbed version at the New England Fan Experience a few weeks ago. It's crazy awesome. ^_^

I don't want to start the sub/dub thousand year war again, but I watched the entire series subbed, and watching it dubbed by a bunch of people I don't care about/for would just ruin it completely for me. (Not to mention I do NOT understand all the Greg Ayres and Vic Mignogona fandom.)

I'd love to see Shakugan no Shana. That series didn't get nearly the amount of love it should have. It's actually quite good.

Also, Rurouni Kenshin, because the newer anime fans who weren't old enough to watch it when it was on the air need to see it. ^_^

Most of my suggestions have been covered already, but if Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations is licensed by then I'd love to see that on a large screen. And...subbed if at all possible.

Love & Pop [saw a DVD for this once and didn't have the cash to buy it and never saw it again. :'( It's directed by Hideki Anno, btw.]

Noriko's Dinner Table and the companion film Suicide Circle (also called Suicide Club) are AMAZING movies. I have the DVDs for both...but they're definately NOT for the squeamish.

If you're looking for a good live-action movie to show, I suggest The Machine Girl. It's a hilarious movie. Think Japanese grindhouse with b-movie quality. It's a bloody movie, but it's so hokey, as in you can see the blood squirting out of hoses. It's a fun "bad" movie to watch with a bunch of friends laughing at the screen.

I think Ouran High School Host Club should be a must. Personally I'd prefer the dubbed since I've seen it all subbed a couple of times and haven't seen it dubbed. I'd like to see what they did to it...(prefers subs lol). But I do like Vic and Greg (not to the point of crazy weird fandom though) so I'd say why not?

You know what would be cool? Sailor Moon. I never go to a con and NOT see Sailor Moon cosplayers. Granted, I'm not sure if there's been past screening and I've just missed it. I usually pick something and have tunnel vision from then on.

Hmmm...I am at work right now so I'm sure I'll post more when I think of them.
