2011 Anime Round 2

Post by ShadowAgent »

Hey all.. Monday morning.. almost Sunday night.

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle
Toradora!
The Galaxy Railways
Naruto Shippuuden
Princess Resurrection
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Garden of Sinners
Durarara!
Gintama
Kanokon
Gravitation
Kanon

With this second batch, we are pretty much spreading the love. I think that brings the total count to 25 different anime so far. :)

Just to let people know as well.. there is a little bit of live action stuff I have not listed yet. If you are a live action fan, stay tuned. All I can say is that one movie we are showing I just watched and I had to stop it multiple times because I was laughing so hard.

Let me guess: the live-action film is RoboGeisha. Right?

If it is, thank you (and hopefully it's not showing at noon on Friday).

New topics every sunday until the con? But that's like... *takes out a calender and counts* three more topics. That's a lot of anime for a 3-day affair!

OT: Naruto Shippuden? Please tell me its not the disney XD version...

We will have 5th video rooms, three of them open after midnight on Friday and Saturday night. Lots of stuff to be had. Last year we showed more than 75 titles.

Also, it's more like a single DVD, not a whole series.

I'm glad to see that you got permission from Aniplex to screen Kara no Kyoukai- Garden of Sinners this year.

Which chapters are you planning to screen? If I cannot see the entire series, I am hoping to see Chapters 1, 2, and 7 this year-- which is what was screened in San Francisco in February.

I saw Chapter 5 at Anime Boston in 2009.

Any idea about the video schedule for when these chapters will be screened-- (General time frame). I usually commute to Anime Boston since I live in the southern suburbs and have limited finances, so I would prefer daytime screenings-- but of course, there are guests and other panels to juggle as well, so whatever you can arrange in that regard I will accept and base my schedule around whether or not I can attend these screenings.

Although I can't comment on the schedule until it goes live, I can tell you that we will be showing chapters 1 and 2 and in bluray awesomeness. I would have loved to show all of it, and could have, but there is so many anime out there, I have to limit so I can spread the love and make everyone happy.
