For those of you unfamiliar, our Staff Fairs are a chance for attendees to come and meet with our Execs and managers in a more face to face setting to learn about positions that are open as well as answer any questions about staffing they may have.

Some of the positions you'll see there are listed here:

Fan Creations: We are looking for a few creatives who love AMVs and other digital fan creations. Knowing the basics of a soundboard is preferred, but not required — We can teach you! If you've been on AB staff for a few years and looking for a change of pace, we want to hear from you!

Fan Panel: Love panels? Love events? We need pre-con staff to help create the schedule and import it into our online system. This primarily involves lots of clicking and some meetings, but you get to experience the AB schedule being built — meaning, you get to know the schedule before most people.

Registration: This is a great entry level position for people who enjoy interacting with the public and meeting new people. We require a minimum of 24 hours throughout the con. Shifts are four to eight hours, depending on the schedule. The duties include checking IDs and handing out badges for pre-registered members as well as registering attendees at the door. This involves entering information into our system and printing out badges.
While experience is not required, the ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has worked in a retail environment dealing with customers.
- Can work under pressure in a loud and noisy environment.
- Is able to multitask and change focus to other tasks as needed.

Creative Tech Services: The CTS group is responsible for supporting the convention with its creative visual media needs. This includes video editing, video taping, video graphics, and other assorted duties. All personnel will be involved in creating and managing the production and delivery of media to various presentations and events throughout the convention.

Live Video Production Staff: The Live Video Production Staff are responsible for assisting in the design and integration of the Video Production and Projection systems used in Anime Boston's Large events rooms.

It has been a while since we had one of these but we're super excited to see you there!
