Are staff members allowed to walk around the convention? My friend & I are thinking of signing up but the only thing holding us back is we want to browse the con.

Depending on where you would like to help us, this is possible. Most departments realize our staff are fans and try to accommodate any requests to attend programming or have defined shifts that you will work.

Some Positions are more demanding than others. However, we strive to be very open about our expectations and accommodating. We love this convention as much as you do.

Not for quite some time, however depending on the position you are interested in, some require more pre-con work than others.

Generally you can apply with full benefits up until a month or so before the show. After that, we cannot guarantee the shared hotel perk.
