i didn't have a record of who won what, and was reluctant to only mark what i remembered off the top of my head (especially if i misremembered who won what). if someone wants to reply with which ones were the winners of various awards, i'd be more than happy to mark them. off the top of my head, i remember valor got best action, fionn's curse got one of the various judges awards (can't remember which one), snowball genocide got best fun/upbeat, this amv will win an oscar got best other, anime 101 and ytmnd both won something (i believe one got best of comedy, and the other won best of show).

i'd love to have amv.org and youtube links for each video (amv.org for easier saving as well as increased likelihood of still being hosted years from now, youtube for easy convenient access), so if anyone has any links from either source, feel free to reply with them and i'll add them to the OP.

*cough* It's actually "Ano Hi Mita Hana" (The Flower We Saw That Day"). ^^; I really should've used a simpler title. Sent an email saying it was okay to change but I guess it wasn't received in time.

I'm trying to upload to the org but I've never done this before and have no idea how to get it under 100MB. =x The best I've reached without sacrificing quality/integrity so far is 286MB in 720p. (The original file was 354MB in 1080p.) Anyone have any tips? I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Should I just request permission for a larger file upload?

P.S. Sorry for my newbieness. I sure seem to be running into a lot of technical difficulties. x.X Apologies for any problems during the playback at the con, I noticed a few frames were off and the sound was awfully loud for some reason. Strangely my video in the Other Overflow was too quiet, and I think it actually froze at one point. (I also forgot to request my name to be changed there as well, whoops. Guess I might as well admit I was the one who made the Madoka x MLP Equestria Girls crossover trailer. Hope no one caught my real name and starts to stalk me. XP)

Anyway, despite all the stumbles it was a great experience. =) Congrats to all the winners, and thanks again to the AB staff for hosting this! (As well as putting up with my pestering. *shot*)

Yes, it does. Clearly they cared a lot about the contest, enough to take the time to put a list of the entries on the forums with links. And being human like the rest of us, they couldn't perfectly remember the results and didn't want to accidentally post the wrong information.

Yea. "Constant quality" with the value set to 10 is normally what I use for con submissions. If you have some shots that just really look blocky, you can also play with the "Variance AQ" setting on the Advanced tab, and the "Enable Debanding" box on the Video Filters tab does a great job handling banding issues.

Thanks for posting the list and especially for tracking down the links. I normally do it the Monday after the convention, but was delayed on my way home this year, and was exhausted when I got there, so I was planning on doing it today.

The list and winners look right to me, so I'll leave this as the correct list rather than making a new "official" thread.

I'll have the full winners list thread updated later tonight after I get home from work.

Thanks to all of the people who submitted this year, it really was one of the strongest contests we've ever had, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for next year.

This video surprised me. It was very well done considering the anime used is very short!
