You don't need to be in costume to post in this cosplay forum... but sometimes it helps.

Masquerade 2024 Handmade Cosplay Question

Post by adrianxcosplays »

Hi, I’ve been reading over the rules relating to the craftsmanship cosplay contest, and it says that a ‘minimal amount of found items may be used’. The only part of my cosplay that I bought was a petticoat from Amazon, so is that okay? I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but hopefully someone might have an answer:)

Thanks, Adrian (adrianxcosplays)

Hello!

As the only component of your cosplay that isn't handmade, chances are that should be fine. The most important thing is of course will be to make them aware during your judging so that they can evaluate your cosplay as a whole accordingly!
