How far were the furthest attendees?
I'm curious - how far and from where did our furthest attendees come from? If you came from outside the new england area, let us know!
I do know sometimes we get some folks from places like England and Japan (frequent poster and AMV creator Dokool is an example)...

How far were the furthest attendees?
I came from Minnesota. I like to fly out to one East Coast con a year to meet up with online buddies. I went to Otakon the past two years, but... meh. I'd only ever heard good things about Anime Boston so I decided to try you guys instead this year. And I had a great time.

Some of my other friends are trying to convince me to switch back to Otakon, but I think I'm going to stick with Boston. If they want to hang out with me, they'll just have to switch cons too.

I'm originally from the Boston-ish area, but came from my school, which is in Western New York. Which, you know, isn't that far. But it FEELS really far, because all we have here are farms and cows.
Man, I missed my city.

*plays FF victory fanfare* I got some great reactions from that this weekend when comparing travel issues with other people.
"Man, we live in Worcester, and traffic was horrible coming in..."
"I hear ya - after my 13-hour hop to Detroit they detained me for 20 minutes because they kept finding trace explosive material on my hands."
"O_o where did you come from?"
"...Japan?"
"...You came from Japan... for an anime con."
"...yes."
"..."
"...look, I'm not denying this is the smartest thing I've ever done, by any means..."
I'm going to be making the Tokyo->Boston trip for at least one more year, so here's hoping they add a Narita->Logan route for '08.
