Hi everyone! Long time no see!

As we are getting ready for Anime Boston 2022(!) we're looking to hear your suggestions once again.
This thread is for Voice Actors, Producers, Directors, Artists, etc. that aren't musical acts or from Japan. If you have someone you'd like to see as a guest at Anime Boston 2022, please use this thread to make your suggestion.

Here's some guidelines to keep in mind:

When suggesting a guest, please give us their name and not just what shows they've been in, their character names, or titles they've worked on. Linking to their Wikipedia, Anime News Network, or Facebook page is a big help.

Keep in mind that even though someone may make a great guest, there are a number of factors that go into the Guest of Honor selection process including - but not limited to - availability, scheduling conflicts, travel expenses, and logistics.

This is a suggestion thread, not a nomination or voting process; posts seconding and agreeing with suggestions may be removed to keep the thread focused on the suggestions themselves.

No matter how enthusiastic you are, do not ask someone if they'd be interested in attending Anime Boston as a guest. Sometimes when a potential guest is contacted by fans about attending Anime Boston it can be misinterpreted it as an official invitation from the convention itself. This can lead to confusion, mixed signals, and disappointment for everyone. These situations can actually backfire and hurt the convention's chances to have a guest attend.

Thank you.

I was literally thinking about contributing a suggestion today, and lo and behold, this thread went up today! It's fate!

I'd like to humbly suggest Jonah Scott as a guest for Anime Boston 2022! He's been in a number of shows that have come out in the past two years. You might know him as Legoshi from "Beastars", Joe from "Sk8 the Infinity" and Tatsu from "The Way of the House Husband". He also streams and has his own Youtube channel, for people who might be into that. Overall he seems like a cool up and coming voice actor, and "Way of the House Husband" certainly fits the food theme for this year.

Here's a link to his listing on Anime News Network: ... ?id=184821
And a link to his Instagram (the email for convention bookings is right in his bio):

Something Witty Entertainment is the Youtube channel behind Sword Art Online Abridged. I recently found out that we had them here is 2017 was curious if we could bring them back.

Ian Sinclair is the dub voice of Brook from One Piece and he also has done a phenomenal performance as the Narrator from Love is War which the third season is set to premier this April.

Bryce Papenbrook
Johnny Yong Bosch

I'd like to suggest Wally Wingert!

He's the voice of Kotetsu T. Kaburagi in Tiger and Bunny, which is actually getting a new season spring 2022! Yuri Lowenthall plays Barnaby Brooks Jr. in the same show, and it'd be awesome to meet him too!

I recommend Bryce papenbrook as guest for this event, he has said he is very interested in doing it and would love to be apart of anime boston again, he is well known for voicing Eren Yeager(AOT), Inosuke(Demon Slayer), and kirito(Sword Art Online)

I'm always a proponent of LittleKuriboh coming to cons
He doesn't have much on YouTube anymore, as he's been doing mostly streams nowadays, and his health isn't always great...but if he could come I would be so happy. I know it's unlikely because of his health issues...but maybe he would come if he got an invite? I Don't know. It's just my dream. As the Father of Abridging and a master Yu-Gi-Oh fan, he's been a big part of the anime community for many years.

ProZD, a YouTuber but also a Voice Actor -
He's very fun, very funny, and I think he would be a great addition not only to the show, but to events and panels.

David Wald is another VA that comes to mind - for me particularly because of Adam from Sk8, but also apparently he voiced Pipimi in Pop Team Epic? And that's incredible.

Chuck Huber is always a great one - HE voiced Hiei and Android 17, among a million other awesome roles

Since food seems to be the theme still - I am kinda partial to the Cast of Food Wars: Blake Shepard - Soma, Stephanie Wittels - Erina, Jad Saxton - Megumi, Cristina Kelly - Alice, Jay Hickman - Joichiro or John Swasey - Senzaemon.

One Piece 1000! - Any of the cast

Lupin the 3rd 50th Anniversary Celebration - Any of the cast
