Mike Toole is a producer and anime historian. Recently, he served as the editor at large at Anime News Network. Mike currently works at Discotek Media, where he has produced the U.S. Blu-ray release of “Arcadia of My Youth” and provided a guided commentary track for the 1970s anime film “Belladonna of Sadness.” He has also narrated season one of “Bananya.” Mike loves sharing surprising facts about anime production history — see his panels to learn more.

As I recall, Mike was supposed to be at last year's con for a Discotek panel, but he and the panel failed to materialize. It's good to know he should be coming this year, as I have wanted to meet him for some time.
