Rules of the Rooms and Roommates Forums

Post by Faceman »

Hello everyone!

While we want to facilitate your finding of rooms and roommates for Anime Boston, please keep in mind the following things:

Overcrowding
Most hotel rooms are limited to 3 people in a King room, and 4 in a double bed room. If you have more than 4 people in your room, you run the risk of being kicked out of the hotel.

This is a hotel policy, not an Anime Boston policy. If this happens to you, there is nothing Anime Boston can do about it. Because we have contracts with the hotels for room blocks and must ensure we're complying with the terms, any posts recruiting more than 4 people for a block hotel room will be removed.

Hotel Code of Conduct
-If an individual is responsible for damages to hotel property, or endangering his/her own or anyone else's safety, he/she and potentially any or all of his/her roommates will be ejected from the hotel and have his/her Membership to Anime Boston revoked. Individuals involved will be held legally and financially responsible. Hotel administration may prosecute the offenders to the fullest extent of the law.
-Noise levels must be kept to a minimum at all times. After three disturbances from a room, the guests will be ejected from hotel property and their Membership to Anime Boston may be revoked.
-Hotel guests must comply with the listed occupancy limits for each room. Failure to do so may result in being ejected from hotel property.

Check in Age
Most hotels require at least one member of the party staying in the room to be 18 or 21, depending on the hotel. See the information for the particular hotel once the room blocks are posted.

Finding Roommates
Anime Boston provides these forums as a means for our attendees to coordinate room sharing. Anime Boston and the New England Anime Society, Inc. are not responsible or liable for any hotel room arrangements.
