Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Chat Noir Cosplay Group

Hey folks-

I was Ladybug at Another Anime Convention in Manchester, NH this past weekend. While I was there I met several people who were potential Miraculous cosplayers for Anime Boston, and I imagine there will be more after it airs in the US in December, so here I am making this thread~

Though I have attended AB for the past four years, I am a total newbie to cosplay. I'm not sure I should really lead this, but I think it would be great to have a meet up or photo shoot!

I would also love to watch your cosplay progress so let me know if theres somewhere to follow you. I finished mine but if you wanna see it or the changes I plan to make for AB I'm Cambrasine on tumblr, Twitter, and Cambrasineart on Insta

As I mentioned, I'm a newbie so I...really don't even know where to start organizing this. I'll be there all weekend but Friday or Saturday is probably better because AB is back on it's classic Easter weekend this year.
I'd love to bring buttons or stickers to give out (I'll be in the artist alley again this year) or themed snacks or something?? Is that something people do? Just remembered the food policy, whoops!

My suit is ripping (the outside layer) in a few spots too... Vinyl is so tricky. I will figure out a solution though!!

Hello, friendos!! I've been planning on cosplaying as Nino for AB! Someone from this thread contacted me on Tumblr and I was interested!

I might be cosplaying chat noir...the cosplay will be pretty bad though so idk...it was a last minute descision on my part lol

I ordered a batman mask as my base to speed up the process then removing the pointy ears and relatexing a few layers of silver to keep the details and get rid of holes from where the ears will be cut.



Then just the purple suit with the black shirt and white butterfly/moth tie.



For the black front piece I will just use some extra black vinyl or make it out of latex since its not too detailed.

Sounds like a really good idea to me, especially with using the batman mask as the base. It'd be cool to see a Hawk Moth there

So the suit finally arrived....a bit too long on the sleeves and legs so gotta hem them. The waist is a perfect fit but the jacket is a bit baggy but I figure I can hem it slightly up the back to make it a tighter fit.

I think it's looking awesome. I hope to see it finished at the con and hopefully get a picture. chat noir is slowly coming into reality. I'm finishing up the mask atm and going to be working on his staff soon.

So just finished the final layer of latex and first layer of perma-wet today.

Need to do a few more layers of perma-wet and then the mask will be complete.

I'm feeling nervous about going to one of the meetups listed on facebook. I can't make the friday one, but I had planned to get there on saturday. I'm just afraid my chat noir cosplay will pale in comparison to the others there . it's kind of making me not to go to the photoshoot actually...

Don't be like that....trust me doesn't matter the quality if you have fun.

Heck if you want I am free after the photoshoot and we can just hang...I can help you out teaching ya different tricks for costume designing and such.

The struggle of being short is real. Hahah, and wearing heeled boots for Chat is fine, he's naturally sassy and seems like the one to wear heels JUST because so people expect it.
