Cosplay prop material.

Post by Phoenix King » Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:26 am

Hello everyone, I was wondering if a plastic pipe is ok to bring to the con? I'll be apart of my prop (it's a gun and I'm using it as a base of a barrel.) I haven't' started yet, but I wanted something sturdy cause a lof weight will be placed onto it.

As I must preface: Props cannot be approved prior to con, as they are subject to the discretion of the Hynes security.

That said, plastic and PVC pipe is generally acceptable, especially if it's in a small amount simply for structure, like you had mentioned. As long as it's not sharp and pointy, it should probably be okay.

Just remember that all-important orange tip! ;)

The golden rule of props essentially. But, thank you!
