Hi, all!

Been coming to AB since '03--and in all these years, I can't remember having 18+ panels starting so early in the evening, and running continuously for so many hours. My daughter-in-law, who has only come to AB this year and last, noticed it too.

Since panels have to be reviewed and approved, I have to wonder: was there an overall lack of "PG" panels submitted this year, or is AB catering to what it perceives to be a changing demographic?

I was a bit surprised by the earlier times too, as I thought the policy was a bit different, but perhaps this is only for hentai/pornographic panel content.

Either way, the turnout and discussion elements at the Capcom 18+ I hosted were quite insightful and a lot of fun. Hoping to do it again next year!

I'm very glad there were earlier 18+ panels! I was able to attend some. Usually what happens is that by 11 or 12 I'm beat and done for the night, so I never get to go.

You gotta remember, there is no middle ground. You can get away with a little 13+ content in some panels, but technically there is nothing between "all ages" and "18+" designations. If there's any objectionable content, you're not only safer marking your panel as 18+, the panel rules practically require you to.

I'm honestly surprised the con isn't 50%+ 18+ panels at this point, but that's probably a case of people not enforcing ratings uniformly.

Strange you should mention this--it's the very reason the thought struck me in the first place. I'm dead on my feet by midnight too.

you've never been to a monica Royal panel (18+) then lol....she's mostly talking about chris Sabat and making fun of other people and what not, but otherwise her's is relativly clean. She had to say the "f" word just to make it sound dirty ._.; (it was the cutiest non dirty 18+ panel i've ever been to (not at ab) but still.
