Hotel Booking through Registraion?

So now that Pre-reg is open, has there been any word on when we can book hotels? I didn't see anything in any of the messaging.

Is there any idea when hotels will open? I think it's odd they opened event reg but without hotels.

Last I read in the big update post, they were still waiting on the hotel contracts so there was no ETA yet.
