So I get the concept of the passes for large events but which events are they needed for? I've only seen it in the schedule for two specifically (unless I missed others, which is very possible). Are the main events (deathmatch, chess, etc.) the ones that are using the passes?

Both the MIYAVI concert on Friday and the Intimate Evening with Shimomura use Queued Event Passes, as well as the Masquerade. They will be available at the Hynes 3rd floor (across from room 308) on Friday and Saturday 8 am - 4 pm, while supplies last. It guarantees seating to these events, but you are still able to attend these events with a QEP and will be seated after pass-holders.
