Pool Party

So, I did this for like 3 years but stopped back in '08, partly because only a few people actually showed up and partly because people on Cosplay.com started that 'cosplay bathing suit' pool party thing.

I really just want to meet up with people and hang out at the Sheraton pool Thursday night before the con. Probably around, like 7. Would anyone be interested in showing up?

omg, I can't imagine that. ^^; I don't like the beach. Probably because the water is just so cold up here that it's not that much fun.

It sounds interesting but I won't be staying at the Sheraton so can I even come? I live close enough that I can drive...

I love swimming and if there isn't a prohibitively high price tag associated you can count me in.

Strictly speaking, the pool is reserved for paying guests of the Sheraton. In fact, you can't get in at all without a room key.

I'm sure someone would let them in who has one

Just wondering but is there like a hot tub up there for those of us that don't really want to head swimming? And how big is the pool up there, anyone know?

Sorry. The hot tub was removed some two years ago.

aww really? I've stayed at the Marriott for the last few years, so I don't actually remember what the pool at the Sheraton actually LOOKS like. xD But I am sad that they don't have a hot tub anymore. Are they the one with the whatchamacallit, steam room thingy?

I will be bringing my daughter with me, she is 3 and has been looking for an excuse to wear her new Tinkerbell bathing suit. :D I am also gonna see if I can get my bf and friend to come. Couldn't get him to go swimming last year.

didn't seem like that much of a pool party, although there was a swimmer who got all bent out of shape that people kept getting in his way
