How far is the Greyhound Bus Station?

My friend and I are taking the bus to AB and we're curious how far the station is from the convention.

If you're coming into the Greyhound station, that's right next to South Station. You can walk into the train station next-door, and down to the T (just follow the groups of people, or ask someone in a uniform for directions). Then hope on the red-line train to Alewife, get off 2 stops later at Park Street. Then take an E-line train to the Prudential, or a B, C or D-line train to Hynes. The Prudential stop comes up inside the building, which is connected to the Sheraton and the Convention Centor. The Hynes stop is about a 2 block walk, but it all depends what hotel you're staying at (if any).

I was at the Greyhound station a few weeks ago, and believe me, South Station and Boston itself is extremely easy to get around. Trains are color coded so the maps are very simple to read. All you need to do is get from point A to point B. If you want to map out your trip in advance, MBTA.com is really handy for that. But really, just follow signs and maps and you should be good.
