Best place for poutine in Boston?

If you're new to the city or taking the T in from out of town, this is where you can get advice from people living in The Hub. Please keep discussion limited to things in and around Boston.

Best place for poutine in Boston?

Post by Penti »

I've always wanted to try poutine, and from what I could tell in doing some searching, it appears to be pretty easy to get at some bars and restaurants around the city. Although, I'm curious if anyone here has any experience and can recommend a place; preferably something close to the convention center, or at the very least can easily be reached via the T.

Hi there! Some spots for poutine (and other pub food) via the web:
-Boston Burger Company (1100 Boylston St)
-Saus (33 Union St) (highly recommended according to google, at least for their poutine; a bit farther than others, but also cheaper)
-Bukowski Tavern (50 Dalton St)

I'm not a local but these seem to be decent spots?

Taking a look over those, Saus feels promising; while further out, it's easy to get to from the T from what I can see

If you are going to Saus on Union St, I would advise making plans to get off at Government Center or State Street. They are doing construction at Haymarket Station and they seem to be sporadically closing Haymarket Station on weekends.

I suggest checking out "Saus" in Boston, which is known for its delicious poutine and is relatively close to the convention center, making it a convenient choice for your culinary adventure.

Looking over those, Saus seems good; from what I can see, it's easy to get to from the T further out.

Bostonia Public House, a higher-end place on State Street, has the top-rated poutine in Boston, according to Trip Advisor.
