I vividly remember how surreal the whole experience was - it honestly didn't feel like reality.
I felt the same way. I actually remember the more commonplace stuff, such as looking through the Dealers' Room or talking to one of the artists in the Artists' Alley, more...

I feel sad yet hopeful. I'm sad that it's over, but I just know that next year is going to be even better! ^_^

well after seeing girugamesh i lost my voice and seeing stereopony made it worse if that makes sense lol. i still sound manish if u will lol but so worth it! im sad its over and even more sad my hubby and daughters were sick this year and couldnt come, it was crazy because someone actually recognized me from last year and asked where they were. i felt like a bad mom but my hubby insisted i still go since bringing me there is the only thing i really ever ask for.

This was my second AB. After going to AB '10 and Otakon '10, I felt a lot more familiar with the whole concept and settled right in this year. I went as Nathan Drake- I was a little surprised that no one commented on it at all, then again it's not exactly anime-based after all. I have to say a week later I still feel the post con depression. I miss the dances especially(have been listening to a lot of dubstep since). I wish I had talked to more people as well-especially at the melody ball. I can't believe it went by so fast; after spending months getting ready, I hardly feel like I was there. I'm hoping to have the time/money to got to Otakon again this summer, but AB is definitely my prefered con. Can't wait until next year.

Got a pic? Drake's outfit isn't necessarily "Standing-out". Depends how it was, you could have just been mistaken as just a normal person.

I actually had to make the holster myself; long story short, I commissioned someone to make an exact copy and their business fell through a few weeks later. so I resolved to make my own....The night before AB. I actually think it came out pretty decent. but I was definitely intent on having a cosplay that I could easily take-off/carry if it became a pain, so there were times where I was just regular Chris(mainly because the chucks were killing my feet). I think I may have had better luck at PAX but I figured at least a few people would have recognized it :/

To be honest, I can see it, but I can't at the same time. The hair is definitely throwing me off..... probably the biggest throw off to be honest. Shirt looks a bit too clean for the images I see too...... but if you had the hair, and I saw you, I probably would have called you out for it.
I mean, no offense, but outside of the gun stuff going on, it really would be hard to tell you are cosplaying. Again, no offense, but that is one of the risky things with cosplaying characters with average clothing. :S...

I'm sad it's over...this was the first year I was able to attend all 3 days. Must now suffer con withdrawals until I start sewing and planning for new year.

Totally agree. Other years were better but it's still sad that we need to wait another year.

I am really sad that the con is over, but I am really happy about the con experience! It was a lot of fun this year. <333 It was my first year going all three days, so that was awesome! I am so glad I could go to AB this year. Now, I can't wait until AB2012!
