Formal Ball dress code question

Hey there, just wanted to double-check that jackets are indeed "not required" to get into the ball? I'll be in a tuxedo vest/pants, just sans jacket. Will this be alright? Thanks!

Jackets are not required if you have a formal vest included in your outfit. Your outfit, as described, is fine.
