Karaoke Room?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place...)

I know only Japanese-language songs are allowed in the Karaoke Contest, but in the Karaoke Room itself, are English-language songs allowed? Or is it only Japanese-language songs like the contest?

English is fine, as long as the song from an anime series, jpop, kpop or game origin.
In other words.. YMCA is not okay :)
