Anime Boston By Night, Important People and Animes

Here are the important members of the city that have been cast, also a list of the anime's involved this year.


Bishop Alucard

As a Lasombra and the original Priest and leader of the original great pack Hellsing, Alucard balances his personality between the cool and cordial demeanor he maintains among friends and at gatherings with the monstrous sadism he shows in battle and amongst his enemies. He is as cerebral and persuasive as he is powerful, and it is his indomitable will that keeps the S.O.S. Brigade on the run. Though imposing in every aspect of his personality, he is respectful to those who show diligence and loyalty to Cerberus, it's member packs, and to the well being of the Sabbat as it is in Boston.

In recent times, he commanded the most powerful pack in Boston, Hellsing, on the eve of the Camarilla's invasion. He was instrumental in bringing the packs together to form Cerberus, and became one of the most famed Cainites in Boston for his exploits. His pack defeated the Camarilla's leader and he was in prime position to lead the Sabbat in Boston after the departure of the then-Bishops. Enfuriated by his snub at the hands of the Juppongatana and his own Ductus, he stood aside as both packs tore each other apart, giving his Ductus a stake to use in the battle. After both sides fought to a stalemate, he returned and smashed a table to gain the attention of all present and demanded a halt to the fighting. He said the best plan was to do what the Keepers suggested, which was a triumvirate of Bishops as there was before, with the two candidiates and a third appointed member. Nothing, he said, could be gained by thinning their own ranks while the Camarilla remained a threat. He was nominated for the third Bishop position by his Ductus and accepted by the leaders of the packs, and in the blink of an eye Alucard had the power and unity he wanted. He now works towards two main goals: maintaining control of Boston for the Sabbat and maintaining the Wild Hunt on the S.O.S Brigade.

Rumors abound that Alucard is not all he seems. There have been reports that he keeps his true power hidden away, that he only uses it when he believes the threat is great enough. However, anyone who may have witnessed this power experienced Final Death soon after.

Bishop Light Yugami: Very little is actually known about this Serpent of Light, last year he was quiet about the forming of Cerberus but spoke not a word, choosing instead to stay reclusive and observant, biding his time, and was thus chosen as it's Ductus for his unbias view towards any of the packs that would make up Cerberus.

His silence and often odd demeanor has left him cloaked in shadows and made him the subject of several rumors about his true intentions here in Boston. The packs most loyal to him, the Red Dragons with their constant aggression and warmongering and the Zaibach with their bizarre experiments have done nothing to quell these rumors. The extent of Light's power is unknown, some suspect he may be the most powerful Bishop in Boston, others suspect he is the weakest and chooses to remain silent to hide that fact. Whichever is true, he is still a presence in Boston that should not be taken lightly.

Bishop Rufus Shinra
Rufus Shinra first showed up on the Boston Kindred's radar last year, only weeks before the Tremere Chantry incident. Rumors spread quickly about secrets that he might have learned, and he started to attract an alliance of priests seeking to explore the powers therein. It remains to be seen if he ever produced any results, but the damage was done - with powerful supporters, he assumed a strong role in spiritually guiding the kindred.

Today, Rufus is seen as a tempermental but dynamic leader. Many band to him in hopes of learning secrets. Many follow him because they want a wild, cathartic ride without killing puppies. Some follow him to balance out their combat training with the spiritual muster they need to become the perfect predators. Vastly more than that, however, they dislike how fickle and anachronistic he has made the third Bishop seat seem, and abide by his words because religious fanatics can be more dangerous than the regular kind.

The few brave Damned who have chosen to oppose Rufus point to strange behavior in him and his network of priests, and if you would believe such crazy things, strange whispers of the Kine of Cambridge. But it is precisely this uncertainty of what's going on which prevents his enemies from knowing where to strike back.


Old Man Dan-
A Malkavian Antribu of unknown age and origin he appeared unannounced in the city only a few short months after the Cami and Giovanni were so publicly defeated. Upon arriving and introducing himself to the Council of Bishops he in quick order joined the Keepers of the Shikon Jewel and was surprising quiet for a creature of such obvious experience and power. All the Bishops were poised waiting for him to make his move, that never seem to come. It was this paranoia that cost the Ductus of Juppongatana her seat on the Bishops Council as she wasted much of her time and influence trying to prove that Dan was a member of the Ivory Tower, when Dan was able to prove otherwise, including a letter from a close by Pricius, he forced her to face him in Monomancy, which he defeated her and left the seat open for the Ductus of the Children of Jenova. His lack of interest in an official position in Boston worries the Bishops, but his influence and power among the packs of Boston is strong, though he seems to have no plans to make any moves against the Bishops.

Hiyas all,
