If i were to request from 930 - 1030 and no one have reserved from 1030 - 11pm the night of , would my group be able to stay til the room is closed?

@ Rosabelle3344, That is perfectly fine. While your friend may not be allowed into the Cosplay Gathering room specifically without a badge, the Hilton hotel and its lounge is open to all. So we wouldn't stop your friend from taking pictures with a few new friends you met at the photoshoot in a public location, so long as you aren't causing trouble for the general traffic in the area.

@ Kimmiiekinz, Technically, yes. Your group would have the room from 9:30-10:30. But if the room is not reserved by another group on the schedule for the 10:30-11 slot, then the room would be available for everyone. This includes your group, so long as you let others in if they want. I've added Kigurumi 9:30-10:30 on Friday night.

Sorry Kellsz, but the way you are phrasing it, it sounds like a group of people meeting to talk about K-Pop, and some of them are going to be in various cosplays.

This room is being reserved for specific group cosplays to gather. So you can have a slot of time for a group of people cosplaying from different K-Pop Bands and Music Videos, but this room is for taking pictures of the themed cosplayers, not as a meeting place for people who might be wearing a costume.

So is the group of cosplayers you represent going to be cosplaying from K-Pop bands or music videos?

Okay so! Now that the schedule has come out and I have been confirmed for certain things, I must ask to make adjustments to my shoots.
Final fantasy for Friday needs to be shortened to just a half hour and Mystic Messenger placed the half hour after that, and taken off where it's original hour was going to be.
Saturday Naruto needs to be shortened to just 5:30pm and Final fantasy needs to be shortened to 8:30pm
Sunday Durarara needs to be shortened and moved to 11:30am, if that is acceptable, please and thank you!

I actually sadly need to cancel the saturday shoots I had planned, as I am volunteering and those were going to be during Main Events I may be shifted during. The Durarara will be beginning at 2:30 on sunday, if that is acceptable. These are my final changes.

Sad to hear you cannot coordinate a gathering on Saturday, but I hope your volunteer shift is enjoyable.

As a reminder: Anime Boston staff will be on-site Wednesday and Thursday. I will be unable to check the forums after Wednesday afternoon. This schedule will be posted outside of the Fenway Ballroom in the Hilton. Open spaces are free spots for a group to use the room, either pencil yourself in on the schedule, or be nice and share the room.
Since it might be raining over the weekend, it's nice to know that this room is warm and dry for a good sized cosplay gathering.
