Photographers nearby?

So I was really interested in finding a photographer to do a shoot for me personally and am clueless as to where to even begin to look. Are there any photographers in the area or any that specifically come to AB?

Anime Boston does have a free photo booth available, in Hynes 102. Photos will be posted online in our gallery a few weeks after the con. You can also have photos printed on site, but the printing does have a charge.

I would also reccommend being very careful about "Freelance" and "Amateur" photographers wandering around the Hynes or the Sheraton orthe Mall looking for Congoers in cosplay. Every now and then, you hear stories of unsuspecting cosplayers basically being coerced into posing for softcore porn off-site. This is on top of the usual voyeurs and perverts who do upskirting and down-shirting, usually on an escalator or while going down stairs.

Not assuming your gender or gender identity but the best places for photo ops are the Hynes or the Sheraton where AB staff are easiest to find.

Ladies I know you have heard all this before. Preteens still go off with someone they meet on the internet. Don't end up like them. As always women need to use some common sense. Don't go anywhere along with a guy you don't know. Bring lots of friends. If your under 16 yrs do not leave the con without a parent. There is Ab security and con security personnel in the con. I do feel a woman or girl is safer in the con then on the streets of Boston.

I'll be at the con from Thur to Monday with pro equipment. I post pics on Flicker and Instagram. Most of the time I don't do click and run. I stop and talk to the cosplayer, do a mini-photo shoot. I had a cosplayer give me candy. There are lots of people with pro equipment who are not perv's. You can message me here if your looking for someone to do a photo shoot of just you or with other cosplayers inside the con. If your under 16yrs and want to go outside, your parent will need to be onboard.

Thats convienient for me tomthumb cause i was trying to find someone to takes pics for a Tales series shoot on Saturday. At the time of this posting we dont have a time since I want to avoid conflict with other shoots the other people that expressed interest might want to attend but i thought I'd ask now.
