AB2016 - The Chibi Project

Post by PatrickD »

After a hiatus last year, Jekka and I will be hosting The Chibi Project once again. The Chibi Project is a panel (and a video podcast) in which we conduct horrible experiments on unsuspecting anime toys. It has been held at every Anime Boston from the first one in 2003 through 2014.

If you've ever been to and enjoyed The Chibi Project at Anime Boston, you need to come to this panel or you may regret it your entire life. Seriously! If you're a fan, THIS is the year you want to see it at Anime Boston. It will be unforgettable. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll leave with your life changed. (Yeah, these are some big promises, but I really think we'll deliver.)

If you've never been to The Chibi Project and have no idea what this is, go check out our web site at http://chibiproject.com/ and watch some episodes. If you like what you see, come to our panel. If you think we're mean doody-heads, then go to some other panel and continue with your life.

Day and time of the panel are TBA.

Our panel has been scheduled for Saturday at 11:30 am in Hynes 302/304.

Although we've traditionally done the panel in the evening, our move to mid-day was intentional. We'll explain this as well as the panel title at the panel itself. Until then, we'll let you speculate.

Every experiment that we've ever conducted can be seen in our video podcast (available at http://chibiproject.com or in iTunes and other podcast software) or on our YouTube channel (search for "Chibi Project".) This panel will be so major that I think we might have to break it up into a two-part episode.
