Did anyone see the whole CandleJack thing today(saturday)?
I was in it, and it was quite amazing.

YES! I saw it just as I was getting my badge (I came sort of late). It was awesome! I didn't join because I was getting myself organized but I thought it was brilliant! =]

We saw him like 70billion times. What was up with that? We didn't get it xD (Witch from Left4Dead here; the only one with claws on Saturday (and the only one I saw at all)). We thought it was hallarious.... but didn't get it >_>

CandleJack is a villain from Freakazoid. When you say CandleJack's name, he ties you to a rope and takes you away.
So, someone cosplayed as CandleJack and started tying people up. Eventually, he got quite a few people. We began to chant "CandleJack" and "Say His Name". This went on for awhile. Then, we all signed a piece of paper and became a religion.

I left when it got near the middle of the hall because I left my laptop unattended (well..my friend was watching it but she gets distracted a lot XD)

My friend that was with us was involved in that (his girlfriend was dressed up as Jesse) and we had no idea what he was talking about until now. He said he was tied up and something about about a religion, but he talks a lot.

LOL, I saw that. I was just walking around when all of a sudden I see a huge mob of people chanting, "CandleJack!" It was hilarious. XD I think the mob was also chanting "Escalators! Escalators!" when they went up the escalators.

hey scott, I was in the line as well for a long time. I was the generic commando guy (best way to describe what I was wearing), and the one saying all the awful poopy that made everyone groan.

Yeah, I got pretty caught up in that. I wish I didn't now, though.

Some weirdo named Kevin was following me around after that, he kept calling my friend fat and perving on me. He groped me twice. ;_; For some reason I wasn't being my normal self and didn't tell him to frack off. Don't know why.

I wanted to stay for the 'informal dance', but I was only there for a few minutes because I couldn't stand being around him.

I learned from that. I will always defend my friend from now on, and always tell pervs to GTFO and GDIAF.
