Will It be back at the Sheraton, (and praise be to Odin) open 24 Hours again for 21+ ?

I liked the gaming room for 08' But if the room is in the Sheraton that would be cool too, if it is the same size as it was in 08'. And open 24hrs sounds awesome, but no not 21+!!! (I'll only be 18 by the next con!)

the 24hr gaming in the sheraton was 18+ not 21+ from midnight to 8am. Just for clarification.

as for if we will have 24hr gaming again i am really not qualified to answer but i know alot of people were very happy with the 08 room being in the hynes which would mean no 24hr room

I'm guessing everyone is kicked out after the last scheduled event? I was at the dance until it was over on Saturday night at 2am and right after we were all rushed out.

Uh probably not.. 24hr gaming is fun and all but average wise it was like 30 people at night playing. Doesn't seem worth it to keep it up like that. Not fun dealing with people sleeping there then drunk people coming in. I would know cause I worked the overnight shifts 2 years in a row. x.x

Next year there probably will be more things to do.

Assuming that the VG room is at the Sheraton, I would like the room to be bigger than it was for the last 2 years the VG room was. If anyone remembers, it seemed small, crowded, and the air smelled really bad. Also a couple of years ago people used the outdoor balcony to smoke at one point.

Yup I remember all that. If it were in the sheraton would it be 24 hours? And if it is, is there a room inside the Sheraton that is big enough?

it's to early to really know honestly as far as i know the only rooms larger than the one used for the VG room in 2007 were used for the dance and reg. Again it's to early to tell what rooms will be used for what but as Kaede pointed out not that many people used the overnight room and staffing it is rough on the VG staff and overnight security has to sac 1-2 people that could be used for patrols to check ids. Again it is far to early to say but if you really really really want 24hr gaming get as many people in here to say they want it and who knows what will happen but as it stands i expect VG to not be 24hr

24 hour gaming is great, but if it doesn't happen it's no biggie. I wish the room is opened a little earlier though!

And people waited until after the con to complain about the smoking. I firmly stand by the "it wasn't that bad" viewpoint.

No offense, but the smoke really did blow in and linger, and I, and a few others with a particular dislike or allergy of smoke would greatly appreciate if you went to another area to smoke. :3
