Nintendo 3DS Street Pass Reminder

Post by Aurabolt »

Hi all. I'm hoping all of you out there remember to bring your 3DS with you to AB ^_^;

This is just a friendly reminder about the Street Pass feature in the 3DS and select 3DS Games.

The Streetpass feature must be turned ON not only for the system but for each game that has the Streepass feature. Some games like Samurai Warriors: Chronicles requires you to progress in the game for a bit before it becomes fully unlocked.

Also this might sound silly but you want to make sure the Wireless function is ON. You can tell it's on by the flashing green light on the right side of the unit. If it's not flashing then it's probably off. Unlike the DSi, the Wireless Functioning is ON even while charging or in sleep mode (which is when you close the system) by default.

If you want to turn off the wireless function, push the slide on the right where it says "WIRELESS" all the way forward and back. That should turn it off and help with extending battery life.

Just be aware doing this prevents ALL forms of Wireless Activity (Streetpass, Internet, Multiplayer/Online, etc.). Simply repeat to turn it back on.

Hope to see you there!

Oh, and of course don't forget to bring your charger + cradle with you to the con! There are PLENTY of places to charge it ^_^
