Well we're also doing a vote Saturday as well, Idk why you can't posts after a certain amount of time...

We always have room to add tournaments that aren't attendees choice but it requires a strong following. An example last year was Blazblue

What's this Mystery Mod for SSFIV?

No Mortal Kombat?! Itll be out the week AB is released. Everyone would have a few days to train and be on a level playing field.

Question about Super Street Fighter IV:

I know this is probably harder to do officially but will there be a bracket or accomodations for those of us who have the 3DS Version? The boys at the PRU Gamestop said most of those who bought the 3DS so far bought SSFIV:3DE (Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition) so a tourney would be pretty fun.

I was hoping to get an unofficial one started all three nights but if you guys can make it happen, even better XD

...Aside from the fact DDR and Guitar Hero are back but there's no Michael Jackson: The Experience (Wii, PS3, 360, PSP and DS) mentioned I don't have a problem with the listed games.

Attendee from 2010 to 2018. Ran multiple panels at AB from 2012 to 2016. Plans to return as a panelist in 2025 or 2026!

...All-around nice guy. Please subscribe to both blogs, especially the second one for Anime and Manga-related news or updates ^_^

Dumb question, but what is the sign up procedure for these? Do you sign up online in advance? At the con on friday? At the con the day of the tournament in question?

We really have no plans for a Super 3ds tourney. I know rally and his attendees run a pokemon and mariokart ds tourney every year I'll see if they plan on something but again thats attendee run. He makes it a dam good job though...

You can sign up for a tournament anytime each day at our ops laptops ONLY for the tournaments of the day.

Let's vote for it at the show. I've been getting into Tekken lately and I want some good practice.

I have a shot at Brawl, I'm damn good if I say so myself

I'd love to try my hand at Marvel Vs. Capcom, but I've seen the pros, I'd have my ass handed to me, but I'd be a nice learning experience. I don't suppose you could enforce a ban on sentinel, could you?

There's no reason to ban anyone, especially Sentinel after his health got nerfed.

Don't sweat it - no amount of special rules could make MvC3 fair.

Hey everyone!

So I have two questions, are these the definite times for the tourneys? and is there a buy-in for any of the tourneys as well?

I wasn't sure of the second question because I saw a post from a while back that said there was a buy-in but that was from 2010

Can't smash be done the same as last year? 5$ entry fee to weed out the people who just sign up for the heck of it then don't come, then do 60/30/10 split and double elim. Smash also had doubles last year with $10 per team entry. Please :] The singles bracket last year was only about 40 people btw.

I have Mortal Kombat on PS3, I can bring it if you all want to play some matches. Just the game tho, all of my unlocked content is on my PS3, but I dont want to risk bringing it.
