Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Okay, Everything if finally finalized enough that i can post this - the alley is officially full.
If you are willing to share space with someone, you are a great human being - there will be instructions to follow.
If you are looking for space from a great human being - this is the place to come to.
PLEASE do not start any other threads about this. please follow these guidelines.
Firstly, you must state very clearly whether you are OFFERING space (and how much you're willing to offer) or if you're LOOKING for space (and please keep your demands/requests reasonable. if someone ONLY has a 6 foot space - and for most people in the alley, that IS the max - they're not likely to even LOOK at your demand for 4 feet - that doesn't mean you have to be stuck at 2, but maybe a compromise could be given)
Secondly, the person offering space is allowed to seek compensation for the amount of space being given up (BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO! that is always an option as well) HOWEVER! NO ONE is allowed to accept more money for the space than it is worth. SO DO NOT bother to 'sweeten' your application to gain favor over others by saying "I'll offer you more than he/she is!" cause we won't allow it. There would be repercussions.
Thirdly, If you arrive at an agreement with somebody, then I need to hear about it. And i can't hear about it just from the person who got accepted. I need to hear it from the great human being who is graciously allowing you to share their space (this is a formality to protect people from less than honest folks - of which we don't have any, right?)
Fourthly - be appreciative of the fact that you got space. Not everyone is willing to share their space with total strangers. be respectful of your neighbors and your kind benefactor. do not assume you will have run of the table.
Fifthly - the restrictions of the number of people at a table STILL APPLY! so if you have 2 feet of space and you decide to share it with someone (insane, but who knows!) then you will be UNABLE to have 2 people behind that table at the same time. there just isn't room physically for it to happen. we allow 2 people for every 2 feet of space (meaning that for an 8 foot table you can have 8 people, but only 4 should be capable of sitting back there at any one time - we allow for extra people only so you can get up and walk away for food, panels, bathroom breaks, etc)
Sixthly - if space that has been offered has been taken, please update this thread with that fact. if your space request has been granted, please also update this thread with that fact.
Seventhly (which is apparently NOT a word!)- ANYONE sitting at a table space selling things STILL needs to observe the new tax laws and go through the process as lined out on this page http://animeboston.com/events/artists_alley_taxes/
ALSO - you STILL need to check in at the AA desk when you show up at the con. we will STILL have a badge for you. You are in the alley, all our rules still apply, no matter how you got there.
Lastly - if you have gotten space and you were on the reserve list - we will NOT automatically know this. if space should open up and we contact you then you need to do one or more of the following:
1 - let me know you're all set and don't need the space so we can move on to the next person faster.
2 - let the artist you are with know that you are backing out so they can offer the space elsewhere
3 - someone needs to tell me to take you off the table that the great human being allowed you to sit at because you now have your own space.
Good Luck everyone!

I mostly sell books, buttons, charms, magnets and t-shirts.

SEEKING space
Shocker of shocks, I didn't get in this year, so instead of offering I get to be the one looking for space.
My name is Amanda and I go by Kogarashi online. Ideally, my assistant and I would like 3 feet of space, but we'll manage with 2 if that's all that's available. Many thanks in advance!
I'm an Alley veteran of 7 years (5 at AB) who sells 2d art and hand-painted paper folding fans:
My assistant does handmade jewelry:
You can see more of my work at My DA Page, or at my Etsy and personal sites (links in sig).

Hi! I am LOOKING FOR SPACE!
I'm 23, a student and illustrator, and will bring prints of varying sizes and some smaller items. I've been in the alley since 2007, which has been a great networking experience and fun to watch everyone around me hang out and improve drastically in these past years. Unfortunately, I was about two minutes too late on the signup this year. Crazy!! Anyway...
Any amount of space would be great, ideally for all three days. I also don't mind switching between spaces, last year I was able to share with a couple people on different days. I am ready and willing to pay the fee, and/or give you some snacks or draw you a thing. I also have above-head stacking blocks which you can also use to hang your work, if you'd like.
Here are some examples of what I'll have:
If you'd like to see more, I have it at ciarangaffneyart.com and greiison.tumblr.com
Please feel free to email me at scramcannon(at)gmail.com if you have any questions or anything. It would be totally appreciated but I understand if nothing comes of this UwU Good luck everyone!

LOOKING for space!
I previously ran my "Over the Top Hats" table selling miniature decorated top hats in 2010 and 2011, but since I had a newborn last year I wasn't able to do it (I did bring her to the con that year dressed as GIR from Invader Zim, if anyone saw us!)
You can see examples of my hats at http://overthetophats.blogspot.com/
Anyway, I didn't get a spot this year so I'm looking for 2-4 feet of space on any day or combination of days (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) to set up shop! I'm totally willing to watch your space if you want to go for a break, hand out your business cards to people, and generally promote you as an all-around nice person to anyone who passes by! And if you'd like to wear one of my hats for fun while you're at the table, you're totally welcome to!
For what it's worth, when I had a 6 foot spot in 2010 I offered up my table on Sunday to other artists, so I'm hoping karma comes around! Thanks for reading!
You can email me at tanya2austin (at) gmail (dot) com.

LOOKING for space!
I'm an AB vet for five-odd years and last year was my first in the AA! I sell mostly prints (digital and traditionally-pressed), though this year I'm looking to expand into buttons and mini art books. I'll sell for a couple of fandoms, though it really depends on what I'm in the mood for at the time! You'll likely see ATLA, Bleach, Inception, music!, Kids On the Slope, Champloo, and Sherlock. I'll take any amount of space you're willing to offer, even if it's only a foot or something, haha.
If you like, you can see my art on my tumblr (lots of sketches!!): http://kavinskysdick.tumblr.com/tagged/art+n+stuff
or my deviantART (actual finished stuff!!): http://kateison.deviantart.com/gallery/

LOOKING FOR SPACE
Hello! I am looking for 2-4 feet on any number of days. I make and sell coasters, mostly relating to magic the gathering but also comics and anime (my favorites include cowboy beebop, trigun and bleach)
Here is a link for some examples of my work...
http://www.etsy.com/shop/EricaSmerica
A little more about me, I've been attending AB for the last 4 years, I'm 26 and live in Boston. I would love to be able to set up shop for a day, 2 or 3. Like most people here, I am willing to pay for the space(per the rules stated above) and watch the table if needed.
Thank you for reading and I hope we can work something out!

LOOKING for space.
I'm looking for 2 feet of space to sell my artbook and possibly a few extra goodies. I've been to AB the past 2 years using similar amounts of space and haven't had any trouble fitting nicely in.
My art at Anime Boston will be primarily focused on cute girl illustrations. I am currently focusing on a fan expansion to the card game "Tentacle Bento" so expect lots of cheeky schoolgirls.
If you're interested in sharing space, then please contact me either through PM here or on my blog.

LOOKING FOR TABLE SPACE
Hello. My name is Loritza and my company is Alienphant. I am looking for a space for the Artist Alley. I've been selling there for the past 4 or 5 years and I hope to return and keep the clientel that will probably be looking for me. I sell Jewlery, tote bags, and mainly clothing. I understand that due to the limited space I wouldn't be able to display the clothing but I'd like to bring a sample book and keep the clothes behind the booth in case someone wants to check it out. My biggest sellers at the moment are my octopus hair clips and my furry animal hoods

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
I am an artist who makes custom vinyl figures and am looking for a space at a table. The figures themselves are fairly small 2" to 4" (mostly 2" this con) and wouldn't need more than a foot or two of space. I have done a few convention as a seller as well, (both solo and sharing space with other vendors) so i can help out if needed. Thanks!
Feel free to ask me any questions. I can be contacted at flyingsciurus@gmail.com Thanks

Looking for space!
I applied too late to get my own table, so I'd like to share with someone if anyone has room? Three feet of space would be ideal, but I would even take two if that's all the space available. I've sold in artist alleys before, so I have wire grid and c-clamps to divide the table between our items if that would make things easier. I'm also willing to watch your items if you need a break during the day.
I make accessories for my brand, Moss Märchen... my pieces are meant to be worn with styles like lolita, morigirl, dolly-kei, and gothic, but they go with other fashions as well. I sell jewelry, hair accessories, brooches, collars, and now screenprinted shirts! Take a look at my flickr portfolio if you're curious to see my work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23319568@N ... 061254586/
I'm neat and respectful, and by next weekend I'll have been in the Animenext, Otakon, and Katsucon artist alleys (though this would be my first time at Anime Boston). Please private message me here if you have space to share!

Re: SEEKING space - any amount
Hi Soltian! Have you found a table mate yet? If not then I only need the three feet. I draw fantasy caricatures live of folks so we probably would have a steady stream of people.soltian wrote:My name is Nechama and I go by Soltian online! Hello! I'm looking for maybe 2-3 feet of table space to sell a few fun items created by myself and two friends! We make lots of fun items like Beanie-chans, Jewelry, and painted glass. Anime Boston is our home convention, so being able to sell our stuff at the artists alley would mean the world.
Sincerely,
Birdy

P.S. More than happy to pay compensation

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Hello,
I applied for a table, but did not get in, so I am hoping someone will share a table with me. This would be my first time selling at a con. But I would have no problems watching your stuff when you need a break, or want to do something.
I would be selling craft items such as scarves, mini top hats, stuff like that. But don't worry, I am only looking for 2-3 ft of space, because I can work with that amount.
As this is my first time, i'm not sure i'm doing this request properly, so I apologize if it's not good. But thanks for taking the time to look just the same. =>

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Hello! I'm Jessie VanGyzen and I am currently interested in finding a space in the artist alley. I do well with 3 feet of space, but I can downgrade my set-up if I have to. I can adapt more if we end up on a corner or end where I can set up my grating to hold my plush figures.
I attended last year and you all might remember me as the person who sold Adventure Time plushies such as Gunter and Science the Rat. (I was dressed up as Fionna and Pinkie Pie on Friday and Saturday respectively.) I sell mainly plush figures and I do cosplay behind the table. I am an upbeat and extroverted personality and I like to bring business to the table in that fashion. I also sell prints and mini cutouts as well as commissions. This year I should like to add a few accessories to my items including cosplay ears and crochetted scarfs. Maybe even blankets if I can manage them! However, these will not require extra space, I assure you. I keep all backstock in my understorage if I can't fit it on the table and I try to be extremely tidy about my workspace.
Here's a link to my portfolio page but I'll post some pics anyway.
Some examples of my work:
Commissions I do at the table:
This is just an example of the artist trading card commissions I get--I do many more!
Please contact me at jlvangyzen@gmail.com if you wouldn't mind sharing a table with me. I really want to attend this year but I might not because I didn't get a table! Of course, by the way, I'm willing to pay for half of the table and I am an excellent table watcher.

Looking for someone who is willing to share their space
Hi there! My name is Kris and I'm looking for someone who has a table. I make dolls and I have about 5 to sell. The dolls measure roughly 7 inches tall. But I am mainly looking to take orders. So, if you're willing to share some space I'd be super grateful! I'll help you pay for the table as well as give you a portion of sales. Below is an example of my work. If you're interested please let me know either through PM or email (kristalckoen@gmail.com). Thanks~
AB 2013: T.O.P -"Bad Boy" (BIGBANG)
AB 2014: Kris -"Wolf/Growl Live" (EXO)

Looking for 0-4 feet of space
I have about 17 years' experience in exhibiting at cons, renn faires, and craft shows. I do a lot of crafty stuff, and what I would do at this event depends on how much flat space I can get.
As ConFlair buttons, I sell pin-back buttons, including custom ones made on-site. I would need space to lean a grid wall or two to display the buttons available, so no surface space needed. I would need a chair and tray table behind the display table.
As HennaDancer, I am New England's most experienced professional henna and glitter artist. I would need space for a poster-sized display sign, likely on a grid wall, and a 3-ring binder on a table.
As (no special business name) geeky crafty type person, I knit hats. So far it's mostly Viking based but I've also dabbled in video game stuff and will be expanding this. I'd like a little space to display some dummy heads wearing these. I can probably rig an upright display for that, too.
And of course I would expect to pay for my share of the space. And free henna or glitter!
Thanks,
Lauren

Looking for a table!
Hi. I am looking for a table, if anyone would be so kind to share. I am only asking for 1-2 feet of space, I would not take up too much room. I have experience selling at craft fairs and other cons. I handmake chainmaille and costume jewelry. You can find my stuff here, at http://www.unchained4ever.tumblr.com or at http://www.etsy.com/shop/unchained4ever. Please let me know! I would be happy to cover part of the table rent price.

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Hi everybody, my name's Emily and I'm looking for table space!
I don't need very much space (2 feet at most) and I would like to sell art prints and buttons. (A stand for my 8.5/11 itoya art portfolio, small display for the buttons, business cards, small banner / tablecloth)
Also, I would be fine if the spot doesn't last the full weekend! If you only have space for a single day I would be happy to take it.
If you're looking for someone to keep watch while you go to the dealers room / masquerade / cosplay photoshoots I can be at the AA from open to close!
Feel free to ask for my e-mail / skype / phone etc. if you'd like to talk and figure something out. I'd be more than happy to share space cost.
Here's a sample of some of my art -

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Allow me to throw in my endorsement behind Kogarashi. She's done two commissions for me last year--one for AB2012--and is currently working on my third. Here's the two she did for me:
Above are two of my original characters Celes and Angel at Anime Boston (obviously). They're sisters and yes Celes is pregnant.
Here you see Angel and Celes again only they're with their older sister Katrin. This picture is also a scene from a story I'm writing on Fictionpress.
I can only hope the endorsement helps your case K. On the off-chance it doesn't don't forget I'll have even more commissions for you to take on in the near future ^_^

SEEKING space
I am seeking to share a table to sell my crocheted anigurimi. I only need a couple of feet of space and I'm selling them to raise money for the JDRF charity bike ride I'm doing this summer. I'm willing to watch your table for you so you can go to workshops and such and will even teach you how to crochet your own little friends if you'd like. There are pictures of some of my guys on my Craftsy page:

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Hello, my name is Joshua D. Altobelli and I have just received an email from Anime Boston about getting a vendor's table. If you were not able to get an Artists' Alley table, but would still like to sell your work at a vendor's table please contact me at jda_spike@yahoo.com or joshuadalto@gmail.com. It is expensive for the vendor's table, but I am willing to share the cost and space evenly. The table comes with 2 passes. I will be promoting my webcomic series Zheph Skyre at http://www.zhephskyre.com as well as selling certain merchandise with my artwork printed on it, old Magic cards, old sports cards, and comic books.

Re: Official 2013 Sharing Table Thread
Hello all, I'm yet another person hoping to get some space to sell at the con. I'm part of a group called Funky Fox Studios, and between the (currently) four of us, we make pretty much anything. As seen here:
I'm the graphic designer of the group, so I make the pins, and do the finishing work on the posters. My main projects are under my personal site at Radiant Cadenza Studios.
http://radiantcadenza.com/
If I'm lucky enough to get a tableshare this year, what I'd bring out of the stuff in that picture partially depends how the space is set up. If anyone's interested, a handy display item I'd be willing to share is my photography backdrop stand. It's basically a portable 8 foot tall wall I can stick behind the table and it's great for displaying all kinds of prints and posters. The hitch is that you'd need at least a full table to fit the thing (a 4 foot space isn't wide enough) and that it would reduce the amount of space for the people sitting behind the table (So if you have a lot of stuff back there, you'd want to take that into account) Or it could be put right up to the edge of the table and used as an overhead display for signs and prints, which would take up less space but have less hanging room. It's a totally optional thing, if you don't want it behind your table, but I thought print artists who don't have a good hanging display handy might be interested in using it.

My friend and i are both trying to find space at the artist's alley for all three days of the convention. We are both very courteous and pleasant table mates. I are willing to split up. I just really need to get a table because we have both put in a TON of work making new product in order to afford to go. If you would like to see some of the things we have made I can post some pictures of our products in addition to the following links:
