I joined Is anyone else going to be in the artist alley this year? This is my first year of doing the AA and I'm excited to meet other people who are also going to be in it too.

I don't have a lot of stuff made yet, though I probably should My camera is also awful, so things tend to look better in person. Wish I could find a photographer to take shots for my DA page

I do sea creatures, cute fuzzy things and game related plush. Going to have a bunch more stuff for this year, like Minecraft related plush and some new animals. I don't cosplay much so I won't put any photos in the group, but here's my profile.

Just how awful is your camera? One really simple trick for getting better photos, even with an "awful" camera, is to take them outside. Pick a relatively sunny day and photograph your stuff outside, in the shade of a porch or large tree if the direct sunlight is too stark. Alternatively, pick a bright but overcast day (winter-time is full of these) and do it then.

After that, just balance out the colors in Photoshop. I think there's another thread floating around here somewhere with tricks to getting pictures looking good in Photoshop. It was talking about scanned art, but it applies to photos too.

Ah, I'll be in the Artist Alley this year as well. It'll be my first year there so I'm somewhat nervous but also excited.

I don't know if I'll have a table yet, but I'll be going regardless! So I've joined.

my dA is CROWNORTH (I used to be Twelfth, if anyone... remembers... haha)

Kevin Bolk and myself have dA pages!

We'll be at con with all of our comics, art cards, prints, and crocheted Spink amigurumi.
But since Kevin might need his wheelchair that weekend, we bit the bullet and are doing the dealers' room for the extra space. (Even though we make everything at the booth like every other AA artist.)

Perhaps y'all could come visit us during your potty breaks? We're at BOOTH #444!
