Thank god the weekend's coming...being a full-time day college student with 8:30 classes doesn't help in the "sleep-it-off-and-it'll-go-away" department.
Neither does working 8-5 every day and having to walk two blocks through downtown Hartford to get to work. ><
Oh yuck! *hugs* Most I do is walking from building to building to go to class, I praise you for that. I've been to Hartford twice, so I can relate somewhat.

Owwwwwwwwwww....sinuses are starting to drive me nuts now...feels like I broke my nose...

If anyones still coughing a lot make your you dont have bronchitis (however you spell it)
My boyfriend's cold seems to be developing into it.

Urgh. I have just been to the doctor and found out that what I currently have is laryngitus, bronchitus, and congunctivitus (yeah...I don't know if I spelled all of those right). >__>

Yes...
I won't get into details on these forums but I was in bed for 3 days after the con hehehe
I think what made a lot of people sick was the dry air inside the Hynes though...

Caught con cold here. I was fine for Con, came back home, was feeling sort of cruddy Monday, had and itchy throat Tuesday and full blown cold by Thursday. Had to call in sick to work Friday.

No voice, chest congestion, sore throat, headache, body aches and pains, runny nose. Yep I got it all.

Though for me it's harder because I picked it up at con, and my family had it here too, so I got a double whammy and it couldn't be avoided.

Guess I could say this is my souvenir from AB. Though it won't deter me from returning next year.

I actually did get ConCold and had it real bad all last week. I'm only now just getting rid of the cough.

It didn't help that the medication they put me on made me fly like a kite.

I was also hit by the "con plague," so to speak. The Hynes-Convention center was essentially a contained environment over the course of the weekend for Anime Boston. For a fact, many people attended this convention when they were already sick and that's exactly where the "plagues" came from. The close quarters of the environment mixed with the unhealthy habits of attending a convention for multiple days in a row (Less sleep, Eating Habits, Dances, People hooking up, etc.) is how the "con plague," spread so fast.

[color:purple]Having not been seriously sick since late 2001, I was susprised that I had a major cough after the con. My brother was a little worse off, having somewhat of a temperature.
But it seems to be a common occurance, especially this time around.

I'm interested to see this, because yeah, my friend got so sick after friday she missed Saturday and Sunday, then her sister who went for all three days ended up missing two and a half days of school the next week. I luckily, dodged the bullet. Which is strange since I was working on last minute costumes the week before, getting one or two hours of sleep each night.

My high school's japanese culture club attended the con and unfortunately, most of us caught the "con plague". All of us had MCAS just after the con and therefore had to hold-off staying home sick for a week. By Friday afternoon most everyone was even worse off. A few of us unlucky ones were actually laid up with bouts of diziness over the weekend and have been getting better and worse these past few weeks. Fortunately, none of us have been diagnosed with anything other than a severe cold. Hope all of you other "con plague" sufferers have gotten/are getting better. ^^

There did seem to be decent con crud this year.

Myself, I got pretty sick about a week after the con. Sick enough that I should have gone to a doctor (I was coughing up a lot of mucus and was very, very cold when it was pretty warm in my room), but I didn't, and it sorted itself out in about a week and a half.

it was wamr in the con center which doesnt help the germs in the air someone coughed on me and then i felt worse i was feeling fine befpre the con. so if anyone has to cough cover your motuh or move away most likey.

omg, i did catch a cold right after the con was over. I thought it was because of the weather. :)
See, this is why i don't think Anime Boston should hold the convention in March. I like it better in April and May.

Well, hopefully everyone has long since recovered from their "plague". Since this thread is just talking about necroposting now, I think the time has come for it to be locked.
