Anime Boston has booked a block of hotel rooms at the Boston Marriott Copley. Please call 1-800-228-9290 and ask for the Anime Boston 2009 Social rate to book your room(s) or use the Online Reservation System but please do not delay. Book your rooms now!

The room rate is the same as the convention rate we have with the Sheraton Boston Hotel. This rate will be available through April 30, 2009.

Do we still need to have the deposit on the card at the time of the reservation, like with the Sheraton?

I believe that is the policy for most hotels, but I would call and ask them directly.

Okay, cool. One more question -- Do you have to be 21 to reserve, or can you be 18? I know a lot of hotels you have to be 21. ;-;

[color:purple]Check the Marriott's web site. It should have a list of FAQs that can help you out. I know the Hilton has the 21+ policy. But the Marriott... not so much from what I remember. But don't take my word for it. ^^;;[/color]

Okay one more question: I can use debit instead of credit, right? Sorry about all the questions, this is the first year I'm reserving for myself instead of crashing w/ others. ^_^;

It's unfortunate, to be sure, that this kind of violence happens anywhere. That said, there's an extremely good chance people getting rooms there won't meet with the same end (especially if they don't arrange to meet with strangers on Craigslist for 'massage services').
