Anime Boston announces its dates for future years

Post by Starwind »

There's a World Trade Center in Boston? Oh, great. I just realized how many years it's been. Hope they beef up security in four months.

It's a much different world trade center -- it's much smaller, and WAY less tall. Less of an issue from a security standpoint, though it is a high-people-concentration area.

Thanks for the dates. For the next 3 years I'll be studying in England, so lets hope the fact that you have them on Easter means that it will always be during my Easter break XD Also May 25th is my sister's b-day, I wonder if she would come for that one. ^^

back during the discussion of what was going on with the various dances, it was mentioned that ab has dates booked through 2020.

viewtopic.php?f=66&t=16871&p=246285#p246285

now that we are approaching the last date on the future years announcement, is there any chance of getting the listed updated through 2020? hopefully we will see a few more summer dates in that span. having it on memorial day weekend in 2013 was awesome

Yay! Easter is awesome again!

Do we know what time AB15 will be opening up? I'm taking the T from my school so it'd be super helpful to know when I'll have to be leaving and getting on a train.

Easter 2020 is April 12
Easter 2021 is April 4

So, one must wonder if those will be AB Sunday or not those years.

I wish AB fell in May again, so we don't have to miss Easter weekend with our families/churches. DX And it'd be warmer that time of year.

I miss AB being in May as well, it fell on my birthday one year which was really cool. May just seemed like a generally good time for the con too, oh well.

Any ideas on what's gonna happen going forward? The Hynes is to be sold. I am sure nothing is solidified yet, but AB surely must have this in consideration. I don't think the Hynes will be available in 2022 at this rate.

I keep seeing that you can register for 2023 until May 31, 2022, but it’s not on the site yet…?

They planned to have it on the site since they couldn't due the dealer room this year. My guess is they were too busy with other things this weekend to get it up. Give them a bit, I'm sure they will extend the window to register accordingly

You and me both. I hit the dealer's table, the raffle table, the info desk outside of registration, two different registration staffers, and at least one other person trying to get the solution for this. Thankfully, I asked in general and Nemra provided that it will be up soon with a few days chance to pre-register. I definitely hope it is sooner opposed to later myself. I want to get it done while it is on my mind.

Yes! Apologies for the delay, registration has been really busy and did not have an opportunity to work on it in the chaos of things on site. I will poke and make sure it's still on the top of the list.

I will say though that the dealers room had nothing to do with it. It was simply something new we wanted to try out but didn't quite go as planned. Apologies again for the delay!
