This is a general announcement about MYM and her band GaGaalinG, one of our guests from this past year. According to an announcement on the official website www.gagaaling.com (it's in Japanese), Saturday, July 17, 2010 (today) will be their last performance together. The band is breaking up due to differences in vision for their music.
When I was with MYM at the con, she said that she really liked Boston and had a great time with everyone, and that she loved all of the energy at her live concert and the con as a whole.
As a liaison I just wanted to thank you all for the awesomely positive experience that Anime Boston--the staff AND the attendees--was able to give her. It's sad to see them go, but let's see how the future unfolds!

i heard about this awhile ago. i was sad. marbell quit preforming and now gagaaling's gone. it feels like all we have left in vk in terms of girls is exist+trace (but they rock)
