Well, I'm not sure about their policy..
I really don't see the difference about asking now.
Better to have a reservation in, also after counting heads I wanna
see who wants extra stuff like bowling wrapped into the package.

Alright I sent in an event request I set it for Min 15 - Max 20
to give us some leg room for stragglers. I'm also seeing if they'll
project AMVs for people to watch while we eat and how much
bowling lanes would be. I'll keep you guys in the loop as we pound
out some details etc.

Depends on the timing. There is the Staff All Hands meeting to think about.

True...
After much communication with the venue and some number crunching.
We have a general reservation for 15 - 20 people, which will give use some leg room.

Well, good seeing you guys there the last few years at Unos. I never actually tried Kings, but I had a hot dog at the Summer Shack once that was to die for. (Not literally)

Bowling sounds like a great way to kick the convention off. Actually just bowled again for the first time in well over 15 years last year. It was candlepin exclusively, but it was a blast from the past. I can't see myself doing 10 pin anymore.

Yeah going to see about lanes when we get there..
Way too many factors and costs otherwise.

Cost is why we stick to Unos ourselves. I'd love to try new places, but we made it tradition, and all of my friends don't exactly have well-to-do jobs.

Cost is definitely important and taken into consideration when deciding a place. For example, one place with buffet style for larger groups was $20 per person for basically the BARE minimum and then you have to take tipping into consideration. An event at Kings was also very expensive (like over $30/person or something crazy) but luckily they also do just regular reservations which is what we got.

Welcome aboard! As Brian said, he said about 15-20 people so there should be plenty of legroom for anyone joining last minute.

You aren't speaking of Fire and Ice, are you? Sounds like them. They aren't bad, but you are right.
