145 videos submitted

36 Drama
35 Action (2 ended up moved to Other, 1 to Drama)
25 Romance
18 Fun/Upbeat (1 moved to Romance)
18 Other (1 moved to Comedy)
13 Comedy

25 DQed videos
15 for watermarks
5 for exceeding a PG-13 rating (2 for language)
2 for subtitles
2 for not being anime
1 for containing English audio

Woah that's a lot of disqualified vids at least compared to last year which was like 2 or 3 right?

In years past, the number has hovered in the single digits. The prescreeners were very strict with watermarks this year; that's where most of the DQs are coming from (60% of DQs). Without those, it would have been close to single digits again.

The number of recategorized vids, on the other hand, seems about on par with the entire sum of the past decade.

Didn't know there would be re-categorizing again after the whole "Still Alive" drama entry a few years back.

Anywho, in speaking of "non-PG13" videos, were there enough Hentai entries this year for the HMV contest? At least I still have that. *Shrug*

In past years I have weeded out a lot of videos before it ever reached the prescreen stage. I didn't have time this year to do that.

Also we've never stopped recategorizing. I just don't know if the actual numbers were ever kept track of. This year they were.

You only get notified if you make it, there's no notification if you don't.

Were there any notifications to those who were disqualified? I don't think I would have been, but I'd like to know if I need to be more careful next year.
