Toy Guns?

Post by Sabi13 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 9:05 pm

There's been a lot of talk about these lately thanks to new MA laws on it and such. I've done some research to put myself at ease, and if I'm correct I'm still allowed to have toy guns in public so long as they have a very obvious orange tip. That isn't what I'm asking about though.
Some people have told me that if I bring a toy gun, I need to break it so that the trigger can't be pulled, despite it being a toy that has no ability to shoot projectiles of any kind. Is this true? I have one toy pistol that just makes a snap/crack sound when you pull the trigger, and another that makes 'shooting' noises when you pull it. I rather liked that feature and was hoping I wouldn't have to break the toy, hence why I'm asking beforehand. I've never brought gun props to AB before so I'm confused on all of this.
