For those who've never heard of it before, Extreme Iron Editor works like this:
Two Teams of editors are given 2 hours to edit an AMV. They don't know the anime they will be working with, the songs they will be using, or anything but the year's theme until the competition begins. "But, why are there 2 editors per team?" you might ask. Well, while one teammate does the boring work of making a video, the other will participate in fun games with all of us. They will be put to work in a series of tests. Tests of endurance, physical, mental, and artistic. Every so often, we will make the editors swap places so that everyone can join in on the fun. But what of you, the audience? We've thought of you as well. There will be plenty of chances to win prizes by joining in on the games.
We have a great event planned for all of you, whether a veteran of competitive AMV editing or a new face, you'll be sure to enjoy this event.
