Anime Boston

Hello again!! I was wondering if there are any Fire Emblem meetups? I'm going to fix up my Lucina and bring her back! (bc I'm broke lol) Due to a change in cosplans I might wear her all day Friday and possibly bring another character for the Smash meetup on Saturday afternoon.

Sounds like there's one planned for Saturday. That's when my group is planning on being dressed in FE cosplay!

I am currently working on Halloween Niles, but I'm not sure if he'll be done on time. I do have a regular Niles cosplay I might bring. I am not sure yet.

I haven't done a con in a very long time, but i am going to go as v!soren and i'l have a v!ike with me...

oohhh also semi-related, but out curiosity, is anyone going to meetup into cipher at all? I'm debating on bring my set for trading and fun stuff like that, but I don't know how popular it is here 0: !

I have a few cards. I don’t know how to play though. Learning to play cipher has been on my bucket list for while.

ohhhhh...i wish there was a place to set up matches then, i think it could be fun if a bunch of people played and others got to watch! but alas...

(i may just bring some cards for funsies but we will see)

I wonder if it's something you could suggest to the gaming staff? there's usually like a tabletop & video game area at the con, it'd be great to include it...

I'll have to do some research! I did find a forum topic for it in the live gaming section (from........2016), so I made a reply there, but I'd have to look into it a bit more... I think the hardest part would be that they cards are in Japanese, so if you don't know the language at all, it's harder to know how to apply some of the skills? Luckily there are translations on Serenes -- and honestly if I played, I'd play pretty casual, so I really don't mind the idea of players (myself included) looking up translations for cards they're not familiar with.
