Beverly of Downen Creative Studios is a multimedia costume creator, educator, and author of “Cosplayer’s Ultimate Guide to EVA Foam.” When she isn’t crafting in her Portland workshop, she travels across the country, hosting workshops and lectures to help makers of all levels refine and learn new skills. She has been featured on podcasts and print and online outlets, including Marvel.com, Tested, and more. She also founded SheProp!, an online global community for female, nonbinary, two-spirit, and transgender costume creators.
