Pipes? Allowed or Not

Post by WahKeetcha » Fri Jan 20, 2017 8:58 pm

I am cosplaying a character who has a smoking pipe. Would a long handled wooden smoking pipe be allowed? It's roughly 12 inches long and made of light wood. I am not a smoker so there is no risk of it actually being used.... I can plug up the pipe sections to make it completely unusable if that's an issue.... I couldn't find anything mentioned about pipes.

thanks to anyone who can shine light on this!

Obligatory: Anime Boston cannot approve or disapprove of props before the convention.
I am not a staffer.

So long as the pipe is not used inside or produces smoke, and it cannot be used as a weapon, ( if the prop hits something, and the prop will break before the person it hits, you should be good to go), and it can easily be shown as a prop. You should be ok...

Hope that helps :)
