HEY GUYS I was wondering who's planning on some Cool Sword Cosplays for AB? :V

I have a bunch I can potentially wear for the con but I'd love to know who else has plans! I definitely want to wear Otegine because he's My Boy, but I wouldnt mind coordinating with others for, say, Kunihiro bros (i have yamabushi) or Kanesadas (I have Kasen!) or something! C:

As for a meetup though, there's nothing set yet as far as I know? But setting one up would be great, I know I'd love to have a meetup at least! What would be a convenient time?

I usually just go to the AMV contest on Friday and have to be at the karaoke contest (about 5-7pm) on Saturday. Other than that, I am flexible.

I personally would prefer Saturday since I will probably be doing only the one cosplay.

Saturday would be hard for me, I have a bunch of other meet ups that day.

im going as gokotai and my sister is going as hotarumaru though I also do alois trancy not sure witch day for witch yet.

Friday or Sunday work for me too! I just personally prefer Saturday. ^_^

So i'm thinking two photoshoots! One friday perhaps and one saturday? that way anyone who would like to get involved but has a day they cant go can get in!!

and then afterwards whoever would like to meet up for lunch somewhere can? it might be fun for all of us sword dorks to go out and get a bite to eat together!!

I would love to join everyone, but unfortunately I haven't figured out my cos schedule. Still would love to pop by to meet other tourabu fans though.

I know that Saturday is really busy for me. I am gonna be at a Yuri on Ice thing all Morning then a Seraph of the End thing all afternoon. So I hope this isn't on saturday.

I am somewhat flexible as to the time. I only usually go to a very few events (AMV contest, karaoke contest) and our team usually schedules our shifts the day before the con to schedule around those events.

Popping in here to say I'll be in Kashuu Kiyomitsu for most of Friday. I'd like to meetup!

I don't want to get my sword prop tagged in the con center, having had bad experiences in the past where security has tagged the zip tie too tight on a $100+ prop. RIP
SO I'd need to go back to the hotel to get my sword prop before the shoot.

I have the potential to be available to help take photos if I don't join in the costuming myself! No promises, but I'll most likely be attending this event regardless (I have some friends who are most definitely attending, they know who they are here ).

I think I'll be doing Kikkou Sadamune for a bit in the afternoon on Saturday. Noon won't work for me, more so 3-7, but I understand if that's not feasible. Though I will still look out for fellow swords. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

So it sounds like Friday works for most people, though possibly a second smaller gathering on Saturday for anyone who rather do then?

Is there anytime for those available on Friday that does NOT work well for anyone? I think an afternoon time usually works better for me personally since I usually end up working the morning shift and the first AMV contest showing is that evening.

Hi there, I'm a bit late entering the thread, but I'm the Hotarumaru from last year if anyone remembers!

I'd be down for two gatherings, though I probably won't be available on Friday till at least 7 iirc there were two meetups on Fri and Sat last year anyways, so that could work this year as well. Does anyone have a location in mind?

We could meet up somewhere like in front of dunkin donuts or somesuch place easy to find, and walk there as a group even, if that would be helpful :O

4pm on Friday is most likely a good time for me. I mean, I just never completely know until the day before, but it's usually flexible and not an issue. Where exactly is the fountain? I think meeting in front of Dunkin Donuts is a wonderful idea. I think it's usually the best meet up spot.

all three shoots were a lot of fun (the last one only had 3 people but it was super chill and fun so no complaints here), and i'm so glad i saw some swords that dont get cosplayed all that often! (and the fact that there was a doutanuki when i was otegine is everything i could have ever hoped for ;u; )

Heyy showing up super late to this and just once! I was the Kane-san on Saturday and Sunday! The people I got to meet were super cool and it was a blast! Sad I missed out on Friday but it was fun the other two days!!
