The Anime Boston Forum Rules are posted here.

They read as follows:

The site administrators reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of the user agreement without prior notice to the user. It is the responsibility of the user to regularly review the terms of this agreement.

The user agrees to the following terms:

1. All information that you provide to us for your forum registration must be correct.
2. You should not use your membership to spam, harass, or exploit other members in any way.
3. Abuse of forum features is not allowed. (This includes, but is not limited to excessive posting in a short period of time, excessive use of formatting features, or inappropriate avatars.)
4. Vulgar, abusive, racist, and sexist language is prohibited and will not be tolerated.
5. Do not make any personal attacks or threats against anyone.
6. No mass posting or flooding of the boards is allowed. This includes "bumping" posts just to make them appear at the top of a forum.
7. Posts should be made in the appropriate forum. Posts made in the incorrect forum will be moved, closed, or removed.
8. Use descriptive subject lines when starting a new thread. Avoid vague subject lines such as "I have a question" or "Help!" that give no indication as to the content of your post. We reserve the right to either close these threads or edit your subject line.
9. Any threads which are no longer relevant (such as an event having passed) or contain out of date information may be closed or deleted.
10. Check the date of the most recent post to a thread before you reply. Replies to threads that have been inactive for a long time ("necroposting") is discouraged and will likely result in the thread being closed.
11. Do not start a new thread when there is an existing thread on the topic. Duplicate threads will be locked and may be deleted.
12. Do not post where to find fansubs, fandubs, bootlegs, or similar goods. Anime Boston has a strict "no bootlegs" policy.
13. Do not be a "backseat moderator". Leave moderation to the staff members who are designated to moderate. If you need to bring something to their attention, use the "Alert" feature.
14. Do not impersonate anyone else, including (but not limited to) convention guests, staff, or other forum members.
