Hey everyone, I just wanted to be sure it was ok if I asked my gf to marry me. Where I'm not sure, but just checking..I'd hate for something to go wrong, or for me to infringe on some rules.

Not staff, but speaking from experience, I've seen quite a few lucky couples get engaged at AB!
If it's around the con, just make sure you aren't blocking any doors/hallways/escalators/elevators.
If you're asking about proposing in an event (like chess or the masquerade) then you may want to talk to the staff members organizing it to make sure they're aware of what's happening.

I know it's definitely happened, but obviously, panels or events you wish to do this during must be alerted first.

Karaoke is a good place to do it, after a duet. Basically use the same judgement you would when deciding to stop somewhere during the con in general.

I have seen marriage proposals at photo shoots. They were cosplaying.

I heard a good friend of mine actually was just proposed to as one of her videos played before the AMV contest on Friday!
