Bag/Coat Check

Post by SakuraShimizu » Fri Mar 03, 2017 11:05 pm

I read that the Hynes offers a bag/coat check. But does the Sheraton offer this as well? I saw a bag check area two years ago for people that had checked out so they had a place to put their bags. But does anyone know if they'd have that this year? I also want to know if they'd have it on Friday. I wanted to arrive early but check-in isn't until 3pm and I planned on valeting so I couldn't just leave the bags in the car and go get them at check-in time.

Yes, all the hotels have a bellman service/bag check. Just remember to tip.

even though it says "check in at 3 pm" it never hurts to head to the front desk and see if they have a room available for you before that! more often than you think they have one and are happy to check you in early. the only arrival days where it is pretty unlikely are usually saturday & sunday (because the hotel is already at such high capacity the night before), but it still never hurts to check!

Always check to see if you can get in early. As someone who has worked for hotels before, I can attest to this. If we can get as many people checked in before 3pm, the better it will be throughout the rest of the day. Especially for big events when we're expecting a lot of arrivals. That said, it's not always possible to get in right at 3, much less earlier. It really depends on what the night before looked like and how long it takes to turn the rooms over. But it never hurts to call in ahead and check. :)

I don't remember if bag check was available Friday and Saturday but I do remember it was available on Sunday. My question is will the Hynes bag/coat check be available all weekend?! Because if it's gonna snow, I don't want to carry my coat with me throughout the con.
