No Marriott at Copley AB discount this year?

This is my 6th year in attendance and we always stay at Marriott at copley, I have yet to see it on the AB site though. Will there not be a discount for Anime Boston attendees this year? I know they have been late to the game in the past... but my family has grown quite comfortable there, Not too mention it is a great alternative to the Sheraton, which is incredibly convenient and nice but way to noisy and chaotic for us. We have found that the Marriott is a little calmer and quieter which we prefer after after spending our days and evenings at the convention.

If anyone has an difinitive answer I would appreciate it. Need to find an alternative if there is no discount this year

I believe one of the staff have already answered it somewhere but NO the Marriott does not have a block for AB this year. I was able to book the Marriott about/a little less than the hotels offered to AB about a month or two ago on hotels.com.

it's not just for AB though it's CT con as well (from what i hear) i think they dislike con goers? I don't know it's just a stupid thing that happened this year and i'm gravely upset by it

Even if the Mariott does not have a block with AB this year, you can still book at the hotel. There just wont be a AB discount. That hotel is still gonna be seeing a lot of us congoers staying there again even if they dislike congoers or not.
