Bag/Coat Check Area

I was searching for a subject pertaining to this- if I missed it, feel free to close this topic out and please direct me to the proper forum.

I forget if this was done last year, but I know the year before, AB had a bag/coat check area at the bottom of the ramp near the Pru entrance. We could drop off out things and take a number, then pick them up later.

Can they do it again this year? I have a room booked at the Marriott, and I plan on bringing some items to the Swap Meet. It would help A LOT if I could bring that stuff in the morning and pick it up before the meet.

AB doesn't run that. The Hynes Convention Center does but yes, it will be back.

It costs $1 to use the Bag/Coat check and can be up to the whole day. Also, it's cash only. Bag Check's great for the Swap Meet--it was a godsend for me last year and the year before: No more having to drag my stuff around the convention center!

It also means you can skip the bag search when re-entering the Hynes. Just don't lose the slip they give you to reclaim your stuff. Also, they don't hold stuff overnight. A way to only pay once per day is if you need something from your checked bag or to put something in it, just tell the staff there and they will get your bag for you. Just don't do it too much as a courtesy: The lines can be pretty long during peak hours.
